Saving Pixxi (Blackthornprod Game Jam #3)

Hello there!

Endless runners typically lack story and are rarely in a pixelart style. So, what happens when you combine a 2D endless runner and try to combine it with a comic book? This is a bold attempt to combine a genre with a comic book/style.

The theme "less is more": In the game you can make a decision which useless item to drop (I wanted to implement a more complex system but ran out of time) and you need to lose health to reach special fragments that are reveal parts of the story - you could say less health is more story :D At the end of the game, you are confronted with a sad choice...less people means more oxygen...

Assets are done by myself, solo. Only exception is the font, which was downloaded from dafont. com ("Kemco Pixel" by  Jayvee Enaguas).
